About Us
Watkins & Powis was founded by Chris Watkins and Bob Powis in November 1978, trading from premises in Gloucester Docks, supplying valves, tubes and fittings to local heating engineers and factory maintenance.
Brothers Clive and Phil Harmer managed the stores and transport, delivering to customers throughout the county of Gloucestershire, and built up an enviable reputation for good, reliable service.
Watkins & Powis have the ability to provide all the required piping equipment to transfer most mediums (water, oil, gas, air, steam, food substances and other industrial products) from the plant to its destination.
Our range of products represents most of the leading manufacturers in the commercial and domestic pipeline market.
Pipe fittings, tube, hanging systems, commissioning valves, steam valves and process control equipment are kept in stock at our premises for easy availability to the industrial engineer and domestic plumber.
Materials include malleable iron, carbon steel, copper, plastic, brass and stainless steel in sizes from 6mm to 300mm. With the continual development of new products and the emphasis on speed of installation, we are always looking to increase our product lines to suit different types of industries.
